A romantic comedy about an advertising executive who invents a fictional fiancé to impress her boss and get a promotion, only to see the plan backfire when she meets the man of her dreams.

Detailed Story

Kate Mosley is struggling to get ahead at her advertising agency because her boss believes she is not stable enough without a long-term relationship. To solve this, she uses a photo of Nick, a videographer she met at a wedding, and claims they are engaged. The lie works, and she receives her promotion. However, when Nick enters her life in person, Kate must navigate the fake engagement while falling in love with him, all while managing her career ambitions.

Kaley Cuoco appears in a brief cameo role as a young girl, credited simply as "Little Girl," showcasing her early work as a child actress doing small character spots in major studio films.
