Detailed Story

Sheila is a depressed woman who finds a time-traveling tanning bed in a Manhattan nail salon. She travels back 24 hours to have a "perfect" first date with Gary. Dissatisfied with minor details of his past, Sheila begins traveling back further in time to change Gary's childhood and erase his trauma. Her attempts to engineer the perfect partner eventually spiral out of control, forcing her to confront her own fears of vulnerability and the pain of real life.

Sheila is a deeply complex, unstable, and wounded woman who uses time travel as a coping mechanism for her severe depression. Kaley Cuoco portrays her with a blend of manic energy, vulnerability, and dark humor, capturing her desperation to find love and escape her pain.
